It is important to contact you doctor or travel clinic as soon as you know you are going to Mali in order to insure that you will receive all the necessary vaccinations. Some shots have to be given in series and they cannot all be given at once. The following are commonly recommended:

  •  Hepatitis A
  •  Typhoid
  •  Yellow Fever (compulsory)
  •  Meningococcus
  •  Polio
  •  Hepatitis B
  •  Rabies (optional)
  •  regular vaccinations such as: tetanus-diphtheria, measles-mumps-rubella

Make sure your Travel Immunization Record booklet is all stamped and up-to-date. Travel clinics will give you one if you don't already have it.
